ATEC and Turkish Technic: A 30-Year Legacy

TURKISH AIRLINES

Context

Turkish Technic, the MRO subsidiary of the renowned airline Turkish Airlines, has established itself as a key player in the aerospace sector, notably in the Asia-Pacific region. Turkish Technic is one of Spherea’s major clients in this market.

Back in the 1990s, as Turkish Technic was growing its operations, the company required a reliable testing solution for its embedded systems. Spherea responded by delivering the ATEC Series 6, a benchmark solution in aerospace testing.

Today, the ATEC Series remains one of Spherea’s most recognised and trusted solutions for the aerospace industry, with the most extensive test programme library in the world.

Solution

Since the 1990s, Spherea has maintained a long-standing collaboration with Turkish Technic, supplying a range of ATEC Series testing solutions to support their growing maintenance operations. This partnership began with the provision of the ATEC 5000 and, most recently, was strengthened in 2020 with the delivery of the ATEC Series 7.

These test benches play a critical role in verifying and maintaining the integrity of Turkish Airlines’ diverse fleet, including wide-body and narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A350-900, Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 737-800.

By ensuring the reliability of embedded systems, Spherea contributes to Turkish Technic’s commitment to operational excellence and safety across its global network.

Key Benefits

  • Validate equipment before flight
  • Reduce lead times for repairs
  • Optimise electronic equipment stock (reducing unnecessary replacements and saving costs)

Client Testimonial

We rely on ATEC systems as a key support tool in our testing and maintenance operations. Whenever we face an issue, Spherea consistently provides prompt and effective solutions, which we greatly value.
