Spherea GET
Purpose-driven industrial solutions
Spherea GET is a socially responsible company, with up to 70% of its workforce composed of employees with disabilities. With over 350 clients, Spherea GET operates across three sites in France: Castres, Beaumont-Hague and Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
In 1993, when Télémécanique (part of the SCHNEIDER group) decided to close its Castres site, the newly established company GET Electronique seized the opportunity to enter a niche market. It took over the production of a product line discontinued by SCHNEIDER, responding to strong demand from existing customers. This initial contract, still active today, marked the beginning of a long-standing partnership between GET Electronique and SCHNEIDER.
From that moment on, GET Electronique built strong expertise not only in transferring the production of legacy programmable logic controllers (PLCs), but also in ensuring their continued operational readiness, as they remained widely used worldwide. The company also focused on support services, repair and obsolescence management.
Areas of specialism include:
- Repair/Renew/Testability (structural and functional)
-
Hardware and software sustainment
-
Wired test system production
- Electronic cloning/reverse engineering
-
Re–industrialisation
